Here, I’ll give the readers a chance to ask some questions, and provide answers as best I can.  Let it begin.

Q. Where do you get your ideas?

A.  The magical idea fairy. She’s very temperamental though, and has left me with writer’s block on many occasions.

Q.  Why is the comic called Melty-Brain?

A. I don’t exactly know. Just fits really.

Q. Can I request a comic?

A. Not usually. The comic requests are generally only done for old friends. So far they’ve ended up as inside jokes.

Q. Why do some of the comics have stick figures?  Are you really that lazy?

A. That’s actually two questions.  The stick figures are a mini-cast of characters known as “The New Jersey Stick Ensemble.”  I try to reserve them for days when I’m sick.  But sometimes, yes, it is because I’m really that lazy.

Q. You didn’t update the comic on time.

A.  That’s not a question, that would be an observation.  But I’ll answer it as if it were a question.  I try to get updates up on time, but I have an outside life and outside projects, and those tend to take precedence over the comic.  But hey, the comic’s free…so…yeah.

Q. Do you sell the original comics?

A. Sorry, no.  I keep all the original comics for backup purposes.  But if you’re interested, you could always check out the Melty-Brain Cafepress store.  There’s also a published form of the first hundred comics available (second book is on the way).

Q. Can I get a print of just one comic?

A. Not at this time, but I may look into that in the future.
